We have Grackles

those

large black birds, come around.

they have a fight each morning with

the blue jays, and the mockingbirds.

 

but lately, the mockingbirds, seem to have gone somewhere but

they left their two babies.

the babies are not territorial and don't mind

sharing with other birds

like the mourning doves and the cardinals which are the

shyiest.

 

everytime, I see a new bird, I look it up on a book or

on the internet.

 

something funny is that my three year old and I are outside

often gardening and we sing the scobby doo song. I wistle it too.

because he is learning the words and the tune.

and in the mornings at about 6 am,

i swear that I hear the mockingbirds sing the scooby do song.
