Hi Jo

 

I believe it does. They fall in and drown. :(

yes, but they read so slowly

byt the time they are halfway done they would have dehydrated

fraggle got it right. a sensible snail will turn around.

 

a drowned snail is an accident, as are virtually all drownings for all species.

It's only beer that kills them. They like the smell and try to get at it and either slip in or get drunk and.... lose their balance - well that's almost it....

previously, I wasn't sure if i had snugs or not

but I think that my two little boys found some

yesterday.

I'll have to give the water a go. I had assumed it would kill them, but as you say, they would avoid it (hopefully)

Merely suspicions, but you can't deny that that slug was looking particularly guilty when asked for his version of events....

No, I'm saying that this one particular slug may have been responsible for the death of that snail....

 

Besides which, it wouldn't be homicide, it would be gastrocide :-)
