I remember trying to make bread years ago when my boys were teenagers. My

bread was so hard my husband and the boys played ball with it and laughed their

heads off. Ohhhhh, I was so mad! I had worked all day on that damn bread.

That was my one and only attempt. I had to laugh when this brought back that

memory - now delightful.

Zelda, you made me get a good laugh about your first time with makin bread at

least they could play ball with your's. My first time I tried was when my mom

gave me a bread machine an I thought ok this can't be to hard to do cause I

tried makin it by hand an I could not accomplish the kneadin part of so I gave

up an then my mom comes up with the bread maker for me well that was a bigger

disaster than by hand. I put the junk in the bread maker an set it for what it

called for an went in to sit down an just thinkin about that nice warm bread my

mouth was waterin an then ok of the blue I heard a bang in the kitchen an to my

dismay I blew up the bread maker all over my cabinets an the ceilin an the floor

an it was still rollin out of that blasted bread maker, well as you can see I

have never tried it again on the back of the shelf it went to never come back

out again I had cleaned for days after the time now I go to the store an buy the

frozen bread an rise it an pop it in the

oven an I have all the fresh bread i want an a clean kitchen too an I can make

biscuits out of it also the clean safe way. Thanks again for a good laugh I need

ed that this cold snowy nasty afternoon. Leniece
