Bon Ami usually always works. Just make a paste and let it sit for a little

while if it's stubborn. I'm sure alcohol won't work.

Thank you. I will try to find Bon Ami tomorrow when I go to town.

I really thought the smiles were cute.

Thanks again, Jenn

Did you try Bon Ami cleanser, you can also use a

gently rub with a cotton cloth or you might need to

did this too as a kid and he even wrote on the

♦ Cleaners not recommended for stainless surfaces... Bleach or ammonia should

not be used on stainless steel.

Change your cleaning product to a gentler kind, such as Bon Ami or Bar Keepers

Friend.

It gets off most stains.

Alcohol is safe. Just rinse off afterwards.

I just want to know if rubbing alcohol is harmful to stainless steel?

My 5yo drew smiley faces all over the bowl to my husbands kitchen-aid

Thank you. I am going to try to find the Bon Ami in the morning.

I wonder though why they put bleach in dish soap if its harmfull to your

dishes. Just a thought I had since my soap has bleach in it, but its good to

know.

I have found that Ace Hardware stores are the easiest place to find Bon Ami at.

Just a little tip there.

just go over the smiley faces with the same permanent marker and as your

going over it, wipe with a clean dry paper towel. The second application

will soften the first application and the paper towel will remove most of

the smiley face. Any stainless steel cleaner should remove the rest.

Thats cool. Also good to know as I don't have stainless steel cleaner.

I did find that the smily face on the inside came off when I put the

cauliflower and potatoes in to blend, at least it was only a little there.

Thanks, Jenn

I would use orange oil. I often use that on stains and glues and it works

very well. I have used it on stainless steel and it did not hurt it a bit.

However, I did not try to take off permanent marker.
