Guest guest
I have a green star and I really like some features about it, but it, too, is hard to clean. Guest guest
each person defines 'hard to clean' a little different. I have a Green Star and just love it. I don't consider it hard to clean. But then, I never considered scouring out a skillet hard to clean when others did... I do my juicing...and I already have a sink full of hot water ready for clean up and I dump the parts into the water. While I put up the juice in the frig and enjoy my first glass , the parts are soaking. Then it takes me less than 5 min to clean. Only the twin gears and small screen need a brush and that takes just a minute! It's a great juicer. The ratings are high. The Norwalk juicer is the best, but it costs around $2,000. The greenstar about 450 or less. While the Norwalk puts out a slightly larger yield in juice (ounces) the greenstar, from what I've read, puts out a slightly higher quality of juice since the gears crush the produce rathe than cutting the with knives which can produce heat. The Greenstar also allows you to make nut butters, fruit ice cream, and all types of yummy foods. Kathleen VA - jathansen Tuesday, February 12, 2008 9:26 PM What kind of Juicer to buy? Guest guest
It is cleaning that little screen around the gears that I hate. I know the green star was advertized as easy to clean, so I would sure hate to have to clean one that wasn't. Katie RAWKAW <rawkaw wrote: each person defines 'hard to clean' a little different.
