I'm *pretty* sure those numbers are based on the ENTIRE cake... ;) Because

115g. of fat/ serving- well, I'm not going to get into that... hehe =)

Cherrie:

The nutritional info is based on the entire cake as being one

serving. If you look at the top under " servings " , it just says 1.

Nutritional info can be off for recipes in MasterCook if the number of

servings is not put in or if a nutritional link is not created for

" unknown items " . For example, if I put in " 1/4 cup finely-grated

carrot " , MasterCook does not recognize that, so I have to create a

nutritional link to " grated carrot " . When entering things on the

ingredient line, MasterCook has to recognize them in order to calculate

the nutritional info. If someone enters " 15 ounce can black beans " all

on the ingredient line, then MC will make this an " unknown item " and not

calculate the nutritional info. The " 15 ounce can " part should be in

the measurement section and " black beans " in the ingredient section.

Make sense? :-)

Sometimes, recipes I format do not give the number of servings, so I

try to make a good guess if I haven't made the recipe yet, so the

nutritional info will be close.

Just thought I'd explain all this for those who don't have MC or are

not very familiar with how this works -- now when you see recipes with

weird nutritional analysis, this might explain why.

If you look at the # of servings it says one so that is the calorie count

for the whole cake divide that by say 8 pieces and you get 314 cal per

piece not too bad for cake :) Make it a 10 serving cake and you get 251.5

cal per piece :)
