This sounds very interesting! but I ma not sure that I understand,

could you please elaborate? Are you using dried beans ground up or

cooked beans made into a paste? can you use regular flour? Also

does this make a ton of sauce since using a quart of water??, should

I cut it way down for just two people? Thanks!! ~Danielle

Hi Danielle,

I use a little home grain mill to make fresh whole-grain flour for

breads and bean flour for sauces and gravies. It's really neat

nutritious and cheap. I can combine beans and grains -- what I want or

have on hand; use beans, peas or lentils with brown rice, wheat or rye

for a complete protein. Another way (I understand) is to soak and even

cook the beans and grains first before using a blender or an immersion

blender to combine them, like making soup, but I haven't done it that

way. With the sauce you can make a lot or a little, as is convenient.

You can always start with a little just to experiment with. It also

freezes well.
