I am water, sanitation and environmental professional and have always been Vegetarian. For me being Vegetarian mean no egg, fish or any other non- veg but I take dairy product. I belong to India and being Vegetarian here is not very difficult as you get lot of material and recipes. I am interested know about the people those were Non Vegetarian and later turned to Vegetarian. What motivated them to change. Guest guest Posted February 27, 2008 Report Share Posted February 27, 2008 I was loosing my legs due to buildup of non-cholesterol waxy substance in my Aorta, cutting off blood flow to my legs. I know our bodies were designed to heal themselves and my body was killing itself! That wasn't right. I decided that I wasn't giving it what it needed to heal itself. In the beginning, man ate only plant food. I decided to try that and now, I am not only walking, I am dancing.
