Guest guest
Here's a repost of a recipe Chupa posted back in 2006. I copied the recipe then and finally got around to trying it tonight. It was very straightforward to make and extremely yummy. Fortunately the recipe doesn't make too much, as it is very moreish. I will definitely be making this again. Thanks Chupa. Christie @@@@@ No Cook Fudge Vegan Fudge 1/2 cup raw, unsalted almonds 1/8 teaspoon sea salt 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter 2 tablespoon cocoa powder 2 tablespoon coconut oil 4 tablespoon brown rice syrup Grind almonds in a coffee grinder, it's OK to leave some bigger pieces, but grind pretty good. Dump ground almonds in a bowl with other ingredients and mix together well. Form into a block and place on a plate and then transfer to fridge to get cold. It sets up very firm and has a nice chewy texture. DavesNOTES : Here's a nice fudge recipe I invented. You could use olive oil instead of coconut, but you want to use an oil that gets hard when cold. You might also substitute maple syrup for the brown rice syrup to make it a little sweeter. But, this is good and takes about 5 minutes to make if you have the ingredients on hand.
