Guest guest
I have found that Olive Garden offers many Vegetarian Selections and will have a extra cost to add meat........ Now I love that....... because then I am not paying for the meat. I've even asked for some sauted veggies to be added to fettachini and they do at no charge........ I highly recommend this place to vegetarians. At true mexican restaurants, they will usually add extra of vegetarian things, since their rice is almost always made with chicken stock and their refried beans usually have lard in them. Many have a black bean selection that they will give vegetarians if you ask for it..... Now I'm not talking about Taco Bell, that only uses vegetarian refried beans and their rice is also vegetarian. Taco Bell has a substitution key they can push, when you ask for no meat, but beans instead, or extra beans if it already has some beans on it. They don't charge for this change when they hit the substitution key, so I always mention to please hit it...... Judy
Guest guest
I know that Carrabba's used to be able to add any veggies to anything. But, the lasagna is pre-made, and has meat sauce Their pizzas a very good (wood-fired grill) and if the zucchini is the side of the day, get it! You won't be disappointed, LOL! Cassie There is a great " healthy fast-food " place in my town called Evos. www.evos.com They have locations in California, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina. Plus, they are willing to get other locations with Franchises. I really liked the concept and may look into it once I move to the east coast of Florida (there are no locations there) wwjd <jtwigg wrote: I have found that Olive Garden offers many Vegetarian Selections and will have a extra cost to add meat........ Guest guest
Here is a link for our 'healthy fast food'. I believe it is the only vegetarian restaurant in Pasadena. Of course, we have vegetarian options at many restaurants, but this is the only one I know of that is 100% veg. http://www.oreanshealthexpress.com/ It is vegan even. I do not recommend it as a regular dining place, but if you are traveling and in the area it will do! I have to admit I do not enjoy dining out at all....have to do it when traveling of course. I never assumed that I would get a discount when asking for the meat to be absent, so thanks Judy for telling us about Taco bell! Also, if you eat at traditional Mexican restaurants, try asking for the beans as 'frijoles de olla'. Normally, these are just stewed beans before the do any re-frying. Refrying is when the lard gets in.... roseta @ los angeles , Cassie Dixon <roxy87cabriolet wrote: > > I know that Carrabba's used to be able to add any veggies to anything.
