Couscous is not a grain. It is in the pasta family. You can find it boxed is

some markets. Do you have a Whole Foods? Health foods stores carry it also.

If you look in our recipe files under pasta recipes couscous has its own recipe

folder. It's very easy to prepare. Open up those taste buds and have fun.

I meant to say a pasta, but my fingers typed grain. I guess cause it looks more

like grain than pasta.

We do agree, though, that it is easy to prepare and tastes good.

Cous Cous is made from Durum Wheat. Then milled into a fine

semolina, then mixed with water and made into small grains. It can be

used in place of rice, and goes well with vegetables or all by itself..

It can also be made into a sweet dessert, that leaves you wanting

more!

It has a nice mellow flavor.

I've eaten couscous for years as a meal but never thought of making desert with

it.

Interesting.

What is your favorite desert made with couscous?

Most supermarkets carry cous-cous, usually where the rice mixes are,

but that can vary by store. It might also be with the specialty foods,

or even near the kosher section.

It's really delicious, and so easy to make. Good luck finding it!
