Guest guest
I am in the SW Houston area also (Bellaire/Meyerland area) and I can't wait to look these two up! I love Indian, Thai, Chinese and any other Asian type veg dishes because they are so alive and full of flavor! They seem to think of things to add that I never thought of! Thanks again, Linda , jeannieh h <jeannieh99 wrote: > > Linda, > > Cool, what part of Houston are you in?? > > I live in S.W. > The restaurants are : SanSan Tofu and Quan Yin. > They are asian style but very yummy food. >
Guest guest
Linda, That is so cool! I am on the other end of Bellaire, closer to Dairy Ashford. Both restaurants are in the same vicinity. Quan yin is on Bellaire the closest cross street is Wilcrest. San San Tofu is on Wilcrest about half mile down from Quan Yin. It just opened so I doubt they will be listed. If you feel like trying either of them out, let me know. I'd love to meet you and talk vegarian over a nice plate of food. I promise, you will be AMAZED at just how impossibly delicious the food is. Guest guest
Linda and Jeannie, If y'all do arrange to meet at one of these restaurants, can I horn in and join you? I'm trying to slowly take my family more toward vegetarian all the time, so I have everything to learn and would be thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from dining out with you. Just let me know! Pam On Behalf Of jeannieh h Wednesday, March 19, 2008 8:25 AM Re: Re:Jeannie- TX & veg restaurants/Philly Sandwich Linda, That is so cool! Guest guest
Pam, The more the merrier!!!!! What part of Houston are you in?? I think it would be awesome to have a circle of local friends that are vegetarian. You can lots to talk about and lots to relate to. My friends are not vegetarian, so when we go out to eat I am always feeling like the " odd man out " . I have to always look for what I can eat. They always make a face when I suggest that we go to a vetarian place. LOL..... I manage ok and have a good time, but it would be great to actually hang out with people that eat the same way. I love food buddies. Let's do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jeannie jeannieh99 P.S. We might want to email each other off list to arrange it.
