Guest guest
Caesars Salad dressing has anchovies in it. Southern Green Beans, usually has some kind of meat and /or meat stock cooked in it. Red Bean(most beans), Broccoli Cheese Casserole and Alfredo sauces often have chicken or other animal stock in them. Just wanted to let you be aware of these possibilities, especially in the south, so you can check with your waitress. Some have no idea, so I ask them to ask the cook and if they don't know, to please bring the label off the product if it come pre-made to them. I do this very politely. If done in a courteous way they are usually very accommodating. If you have any doubts about the ingredients, leave it alone and just order something else, is my policy. Guest guest
So true! When eating in regular establishments you always have to ask. I once was ordering so called " vegan " garlic mashed potatoes and was inquiring to how they were made.... " no dairy - we use stock " I asked what kind and the server didn't know and had to go check....low and behold it was chicken stock!!! Can you believe?
