Hi Danielle,

Here's my fave salad dressing. Also sometimes I put a couple 3

tablespoons in my hummus. It gives the hummus a bit of a cheesy taste.

Enjoy,

Peace,

Diane

Marc Antony (faux Caesar)

I got this recipe a long time ago at a demo by Francis Janes, a chef

in Seattle.

4 Tbs. nutritional yeast

1 Tbs raw tahini

1 Tbs dijon mustard

2 medium cloves garlic, pressed

3 Tbs fresh lemon juice (fresh tastes better)

1 Tbs tamari

1 Tbs extra virgin olive oil

1/3 cup water

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend at high speed for 1

minute. For optimal flavor, please make at least 1 hour prior to

serving and store in fridge.

my notes: Sometimes I am too lazy to wash the blender afterwards so I

make sure to smush the garlic extra fine and put everything in a jar

with a good seal and shake it up really well. Works fine. This dressing

is awesome on kale and other bitter greens.

You're welcome Danielle :) Hope you like it! I'm in Bremerton, moved

over here about a year & a half ago -- couldn't afford to buy in

Seattle but I lived in Seattle for almost 20 years. I love Seattle.

Where are you?

Did you know there's VegFest at the Seattle Center March 29th & 30th?

I think it's $7 to get in. Go hungry - there are lots of samples lol.

Peace,

Diane

Diane,

Thanks for sharing about the VegFest, my mom is coming up that

weekend and we were wondering what to do, so this sounds good,

Seattle is close, since we are in Tacoma.

I hope you get a chance to go Danielle. It's fun. You can taste lots

of different products and see cooking demos.

I don't know if I'll get to go this year; a dear friend is visiting

and she & her kids are not that into foodie things. :)

Peace,

Diane
