Guest guest
Go to our recipe files and click on substitutes then you will see a folder for tofu and one for tempeh. Tey those recipes. You can find tempeh at health food stores. Donna Sandy Cobb <sandysue9 wrote: All: I am fairly new to vegetarianism and have never tasted tofu. I bought some and now I don't know what to do with it. Honestly, it does not look very appetizing. Can I use tofu in place of ground beef to make a pot of chili or bean soup? Would I need to use any seasonings I don't normally use when I make these dishes with ground beef? What about spaghetti? I need ideas and please - nothing exotic. Thanks! Guest guest
Donna, I went to the files and clicked on Meat Substitutes. The folder was empty. Although a folder full of nothing could be considered a strong statement on meat substitutes, it's very difficult to use in a recipe. Guest guest
Sorry Donna! I went to the files and then opened the Meat Substitutes folder, not the recipes. Realized my mistake after you posted the link. I'll know now, files, to recipes, to meat substitutes. Lou
