Re:-Knitted bag

Donna,

I have another idea for the person who does not sew. How about cutting

a circle from netting material and running a string around the outside

so you can pull it together? This is easy, washable, and a safe bag

for produce. Shop with it and store it in the fridge all in the same

bag. I'll try this myself and see how it works. In the meantime I just

take my cloth bags and place the produce in them.

there's a knitter in our midst? i have a knitting pattern book (*Domiknitrix

*) from which i really really want a pair of hats. catch is, i *don't* knit.

not even a little. can i con someone into getting the hats made if i offer

up cost of materials? and borrowship of the book?

that's actually the *entire* reason i bought the book. i know full well that

i don't knit. and i haven't been able to find anyone in my circle of friends

who does. i found the book at Borders one day while perusing the crafts

section for more interesting sewing books (in between a full-time job, being

a single mother, attempting to have a relationship, and showering - who has

time to sleep or eat? - i also make clothing).

Domiknitrix -
