Guest guest
Is Miracle-Gro safe to use? I see it for tomatoes and I wasn't sure. Thanks for any help. Guest guest
It is safe for anything that isn't a weed as far as I know. Years ago, back in high school, some of the guys tried to grow their own pot... yeah... in miracle grow. Since it is technically a weed, it didn't work so good... died within a few days. I have used it for tomatoes, mint, garlic chive, and aloe. Kris Leslie L <mauvetoday wrote: Is Miracle-Gro safe to use? I see it for tomatoes and I wasn't sure. Thanks for any help. Guest guest
Leslie, Home made compost/worm castings are safer, but if you do not have them this year, Miracle Grow has an organic potting soil that would work ok. Just expensive compared to free. When we grow our own food we know that it has no harmful chemicals. Guest guest
Well, I was unaware of all the bad stuff they put in it. It was last summer, before I was really reading labels, before I became vegan. And it was free (freecycle). Now I know better. Thank you. Kris SonnieB <sonnie3 wrote: Not if you are growing organic.
