Guest guest
My gosh! I was just looking @ the files under Sandwich recipes to see if something would appeal to me for a day long outing/picnic on Saturday. Huge volume of recipes to choose from. Just wondering if someone had a tasty wrap recipe or sandwich favorite that holds up to being made up Friday night and in the cooler most of the day Saturday.... We do eat dairy and eggs. We will be paddling kayaks and HUNGRY when we get back for our meal. Thanks for suggestions! Val
Guest guest
I just ate a sandwich today that I really enjoyed and it was vegan! It was 2 pieces of double the fiber whole wheat bread with 1 veggie slice cheddar (like a cheese slice) and one slice of Tofurky Peppered. It was sooooooo good. I put venganaise on it, but don't know what you like. Then there's the Sunbutter made from Sunflower seeds that I'm insane for. http://blogs.delphiforums.com/n/blogs/blog.aspx?webtag=cozy_at_home & nav=start
Guest guest
Sunbutter would be great. We use it on our celery, another good snack for the outdoors. A hummus wrap with zucchini and carrot slices. Or the sunbutter with chopped apple (Lily's favorite!) Cassie Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
I'd go with a tortilla spread myself. I take those along on hikes, I roll them up and take a little lunch bag with a frozen cube and they work fine. You could spread the tortillas with hummus or one of the spreads in the recipe files.
