I need help with sunchokes or Jerselum artichokes.

They look like ginger in shape. I don't know what to do with them. A friend

from work gave me 2 pounds of them. Do I peel them, cook them? I appreciate

any help you have for me.

Hi Pete,

I peel them and cut in rounds and add to my salads. They remind me of

jicama, they are crisp and crunchy but not much flavor to them.

Thanks for this site. I never knew what to do with them either so I

pass them by in the market.
