Caraway seeds are what they use in rye bread here on the east coast. I don't

like caraway seeds, so I make sure that I only get rye bread with no caraway

seeds in it. They even put caraway seeds in some sauerkraut so I always check

the can of it before I buy one. Rye and caraway seeds look similiar for sure,

but taste completely different.

Re: Fennel seed

Fennel is often used in commercial rye bread. Since rye is my favorite

bread, I come upon fennel seeds often.

anyone has any recipes , or uses for fennel seed? I love the flavor so

I got some but not sure what vegetarian things it would be good in.

(all I can find online is it's use in meat and fish!)

I don't like caraway seeds either but I love fennel seeds. The Pakistani

restaurant gives them to you after a meal. Very distinct taste.
