Guest guest
I worked in a hotel as reservation manager and would spend time in the kitchen on my lunch hour watching the chefs and everything going on. I saw the spoon being tasted and dipped back in many times, I saw a few other things that grossed me out too. I'm much more comfortable eating my own food at home. Guest guest
That guy stomping the garlic in his big black boots awhile back at the Chinese restaurant?clinched it for me.? I rarely eat out and also don't do takeout.? I know what I'm eating when I prepare it at home (and it tastes better too).? I've gotten to a point in my life where I've realized that I can't depend on anyone else to look out for my well being least of all the FDA. I'm much more comfortable eating my own food at home. Guest guest
I worked in a school cafeteria once and in fall/winter, field mice try to get in because it's getting cold outside. One got stuck on a glue trap (just one foot and part of his tail). I put gloves on and set him free outdoors. All the ladies were amazed. Guest guest
If you want to release a mouse, way out into the woods far, far away from your kitchen and house, you can pour some vegetable oil on the trap and it will loosen the stuck on mouse parts and they can then go live somewhere else. This is what I have read but have not tried it. I hate to think of the little mouse starving to death on a glue trap.....all of God's creatures have a purpose...even mice, just not in my kitchen or house. Nancy C. Guest guest
Hi, good for you honey, me belonging to Peta, are against glue traps, I know some believe mice are a nuisance, but it's really what started me being a vegetarian, caring for the animals, and also the big farms that torture and abuse the animals, all the antibiotics and hormones, I work in a grocery store to and I feel nauseated when all the meat comes through, I tend to lecture, but it doesn't matter. one girl there makes fun of me and rolls her eyes, when i say I don't eat meat.
