Guest guest
thank you to whomever posted the recipe. I made it tonight for dinner and the kids really liked it. They asked me what it was made from and all I said was vegetables. Can this be made into patties for veggie burgers? Guest guest
I made them into patties and also made the killer mushroom gravy on file and it's a fav at our house. NO ONE can believe it's not meat! Even my meat eater friends are amazed! I may try them on the grill! Kathleen VA - Barb Thursday, May 08, 2008 9:34 PM review: eggplant non meatballs thank you to whomever posted the recipe. Guest guest
It's nice to see so many great reviews on the eggplant non-meatballs. I have been making them for ages but wasn't sure that anyone else would find the recipe that good, it's also nice to see kids enjoy them and the different ways everyone serves them. I might make them tomorrow. I have a few new recipes I will be trying out and I'll post them next week. It takes me forever to get my recipes posted in here. The soup I had made for lunch and this was the left over. The non meatballs were separate and each child ate 4. Surprising for the little one because usually he won't try anything new. If you use a white sauce they are a mick Swedish meatball and they are great with pasta sauce as a hot mock meatball sandwich or on spaghetti. I like them plain with a spoonful of horseradish sauce or wasabi too, doesn't do much for my eye make-up though LOL.
