Guest guest
Now you are talking my language about garlic that is, this recipe does sound good. I also love garlic. Here's a garlic recipe that will knock your socks off if you like garlic!!!! Oh & by the way for all you vegans out there, this recipe does not work well using tofutti cream cheese unless you want burn your stomach, I tried it, it's not the same. Cream Cheese Garlic Delight 1 Bulb Chopped Garlic (that's a bulb with several cloves) 1 8 oz brick of cream cheese 1 16oz can of medium black olives (sliced) Put all ingredients in food processor and give it a few pulses to mix well. Use a rubber spatula to scrape it into a container and be sure it's one with a good lid for the refrigerator. Spread this on little baguette slices, crackers or even raw veggies. Guest guest
I would love this. I wonder why Tofutti won't work. I can't have dairy due to allergy. Hummmm, was it too strong with Tofutti or maybe you need the milk product to balance all the raw cloves. I wonder if you roast the garlic first and add to Tofutti. I'm ready to try it with Tofutti, olives and a roasted bulb of garlic. I l'll let you know if I had to hit the hot pink Pepto bottle afterwards. Guest guest
Roasted garlic would probably work nicely with the Tofutti cream cheese and olives, but there is nothing like the raw garlic to send your taste buds and hormones into a frenzy. The real cream cheese definitly helps in the case of the raw garlic, whether it's coating the stomach or just making the garlic a bit less intense. I was hoping the Tofutti stuff would work, but no go not for this one. However, last weekend I whipped up some Tofutti cream cheese with a little bit of real maple syrup and vanilla and dipped strawberries in it and we, my husband and I, could not tell the difference between it and real cream cheese. It's a pretty amazing product, especially with how unhealthy the real stuff is for your cholesterol and all + you don't have to get it from cows. , Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > > I would love this.
