Guest guest
My son and his girlfriend were over for mothers day and I wanted them to feel as though they were eating the same as the rest of us so I used ground chickpeas and made them just as I would do with meat. I mixed them with some Panko breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, italian season, basil and oregano. Made them into balls and fried them and then simmered them in a marinaa sauce. Boy were they good!!!! Guest guest
That sounds really nice. What do you mean by " ground " chick peas? Are they cooked and mashed or ground whilst dry? Thanks. Guest guest
-I made a similar recipe, drained the can of chick peas, ran through a food processor then mixed in some bread crumbs and seasoning and an egg (which I don't think I'd use next time) and made them into veggie burgers that I cooked on top of the stove. They reminded me of falafel. -- In , " Sandy MacDonald " <smd301 wrote: > > That sounds really nice. What do you mean by " ground " chick peas? Are they cooked and mashed or ground whilst dry?
