my hand held can opener--my husband keeps buying those electric

ones that wear out quickly and I still use the hand held one

We like our mandolin and microplane also and

use them fairly frequently. I've been thinking of

getting a pressure cooker but haven't quite done it

yet. That and a food processor too. Oh, have to

include coffee grinder too, and pepper mill. (well,

we have four or five, I think). I also have a second

coffee grinder but I use it for hot peppers after

I have harvested and dried them. I have a number

of mortars and pestles for herbs. Is that an appliance?

Our coffee maker is Krups also. We have a very large

electric skillet that gets used maybe once or twice a year

but is very handy for making breakfast when you have

overnight guests.

Tell the appliances you love and why

George Foreman Grill-grilled veggies and tofu steaks in minutes

Bene Casa Cuban sandwich grill-makes a great grilled panini sandwich

Crockpot- saves time and food simmers on low, retains the flavor

Pressure Cooker - makes the best tasting beans in a short time

Hand Blender- love to puree soups without having to use the food processor

Mandolin- makes nice shaped sliced veggies for a presentation

Microplane zester- this is a very favorie, can zest a lemon in seconds and your

finger too if you aren't careful

Vidalia onion chopper as seen on TV- makes diced veggies for salsa or potatoes

you can fry up with onions and Soyrizo for a fast delicious soft taco filling

Clay pots- makes the best roasted veggies and they are moist and flavorful

Coffee grinder I have 2- use one for some herbs and one for another

Pizzelle maker - yoiu can fold them and use as ice cream cones or eat as an

Italian cookie

Belgian waffle irons- I love waffles

Krups coffee maker (4) cup- I can make coffee in it and turn around and add tea

bags and make tea

Rice cookers- I make rice, stews, lentils, etc them.

KitchenAid hand mixer- I use it several times a week

KitchenAid- food processor

Krups juicer- it's used a few times a week to make juice for my Mom

Did I miss anything? Hummmmmmmmmm

That's right. The mortars are so handy, I have 4 of those, they are all

different and I use them for different things.
