Guest guest
Mine are my crock pot and back yard grill. There is nothing like a home cooked meal after you been at Karate practice for three hours waiting for you in the crockpot, or sitting by the grill with a cold ice tea and chatting with friends. Guest guest
What do you cook on the outdoor grill? Other than kabobs, mine sits unused escept when my carnivorous husband decides to cook himself something. I suppose there is something in the fies section about outdoor barbecuing and I have to admit I haven't looked very hard. Suggestions would be welcome. Guest guest
Marinated portabello mushrooms, ears of corn, asparagus, summer squash (sliced lengthwise & marinated), thick slices of green tomato, veggie burgers & sausages, thick slices of extra firm tofu w/ bbq sauce, figs stuffed w/ goat cheese (in the fig file), skewers of cherry tomatoes (especially when I have several different colors - so pretty & tasty!), slices of onion. There are some grill recipes in the holiday folder. I guess I love my grill too . And my crockpot for the same reason as Erika and my food processor because it makes the creamiest hummus. Guest guest
We no longer have an outdoor grill however I used to make corn on the cob, baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, veggie burgers, and veggie sausages. You can also make portabello mushrooms on it, asparagus, pretty much any veggie can be made on the grill. Gayle **************Get trade secrets for amazing burgers.
