Here is a link to a vegetarian " meatball " that has 29 fantastic reviews.

I haven't tried it, but I think I'm going to try it this week. It

sounds like it might be perfect for the lady serving non-vegs. My mouth

was watering just reading the reviews. The picture looks great.

Someone posted that the Lipton onion soup mix has beef in it, but one

doesn't have to use the lipton brand.

The Lipton Onion soup mix doesn't have meat stock in it, but the Golden onion

and Be*fy Onion mix do have meat stock in them.

This recipes does have some great reviews. Thanks for sharing it.

I made these tonight. They are very good. Hard to believe the

ingredients are what they are. They may be a little salty, though. My

meat eating family thought they were O.K. , but they don't really

like 'fake' meat. They get really nervous about what I might sneak

in. Since this recipe had " normal' foods in it, I thought I 'd give

them a try.
