Guest guest
I have one and never use it. It takes longer to cook ricfe using the microwave oven than it takes to just use the rice cooker of cook it on the stove. It takes about 45 minutes. Also, The rice that you use has to have instructions for how to cook that particular rice using the mircowave and most rice doesn't have instructins. You can't use just regular brown rice or regular white or wild rice, you have to have specific packages of expensive rice that is made for using the microwave. Guest guest
this is microwave rice cooker. anything cooked in microwave looses its taste and nutrition value and don't forget that microwave produces radiation. Even though it is not in big amount it adds up though out your lifetime of using it. In this case using microwave less is better. We already get a lot of radiation from other sources. cilantrogreen <cilantrogreen wrote: Any reviews here on them? I saw this but didn't know if they worked. Guest guest
I checked Nordicware. Their webpage oesn't show that they sell a microwave rice cooker, and the search did not come up with one. Maybe you have their microwave presure cooker. Katie , TendrMoon wrote: > > I have one made by Nordic Ware and it uses plain old rice, nothing fancy.? Brown rice takes about half an hour.?
