I will print up a bunch of recipes from the files. Then i bind them.

When I try any I will write my alterations, what I thought of the

recipe and if it is fast to make, good one to take to a guests house

or to serve family and friends. I do this with recipes from newspapers

too. Then I put the tried recipes in another binder. This way I can

find some ideas to plan meals for the week without having to take time

to decide. That's what helps me.

I needed this email to push me a little bit. I have them all piled

up. This is a great idea. Off to get a few 3 ring bingers today.

Thanks so much,

I do something like this but I still need to have better control of

my massive amount of recipes floating around my computer room and

kitchen.

I used to print out all the recipes, but now I copy them to word and put by

catergory. & nbsp; When I try one I will print it out, and also put the changes

and date made on the printout and on the computer file. I also write in my

cookbooks the first time I make a recipe, changes, and how my family liked

it. & nbsp; For instance I might right Tom loves, kids hate, etc.

& nbsp;

Last week I went through the foot high stack of printouts and put in different

three ring binders. & nbsp; I have nonmeat, sides, meats (for my family), deserts,

baked goods. & nbsp; I

Hey Joe!

What a fabulous idea. I will adopt this one. It will make life just

a tad bit easier. Right now I am overwhelmed with new recipes from

cookbooks and I need a way to process all of this. I am sure this

will help me out tremendously.
