I get it bulk at Whole Foods and also Asian markets. It's good chopped up and

added to oatmeal or ginger cookies.

Slow Cooker Bananas in Warm Honey, Cardamon, Ginger

Syrup

 

Ingredients:

 

4 ripe bananas, sliced lengthwise and halved

2/3 cup orange juice

1 tbl honey or maple syrup

1 piece crystallized ginger, chopped

2 tsp shredded coconut

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground cardamom

 

 

Method:

 

Combine all the ingredients

in the slow cooker.

 

Cook on LOW for 3 to 4

hours.

 

Serves 4

This sounds excellent. I have some ginger to use up also.
