Cassie, you're got a very exhausting weekend planned. Hope you have some good

help, strong backs and lots of energy. Your hubby will enjoy that backrub.

Wishing good energy to your father.

Re: Question of the Week - What special plans do

you have for Father's Day

We will be unpacking. Loading truck on Friday, drive and unload Saturday,

unpack Sunday. My father has been ill with Chronic Fatigue, so he will not be

able to join us in all our " fun " . My sis is incharge if his gift this year. He

likes playing Brain Age on his Nintendo DS, so getting another game like that is

an option...

For my husband, I will give him the cards I bought from our daughter and I.

And, he will probably be in want of a massage after the move, so that will be my

gift.

Ooooh, we had to send our first child, 90 lb American Pit, to live with a

friend in NY as we couldn't give him enough love with our work schedules and our

daughter (and I think he is missing her more than us! LOL!) I made my husband a

20x30 collage print of photos with our daughter and Rebel. It will be our first

package at the new house.

Dads, granddads, uncles, big brothers.there are lots of father figures to

honor today.

What a great day to let the men in our lives know how much we love them. It

may not be your father, but a special man that is very dear to you. We all

have special friends that are like family to us, so even when we can't be

with our father's, why not find an elderly man that has no one with them

this father's day and include them in your plans.

Also gift ideas are always needed for the men in our lives. LOL Please

share your ideas for this also.

Looking for your ideas of inspiration for making this day

a very nice day for our families and men.

Judy, thanks for the positive thinking. This move is supposed to be " the one "

for our family to unite and grow together. I really think it will work out for

us, we just hve to not kill each other to get there ;)

My father is a HUGE believer in animal proteins and little to no grains, and go

through this chronic fatigue 2-3 times a year. We all just roll our eyes, as he

is a self-taught overweight health " guru " ! LOL

Cassie there is a lot of unknowns about the cause of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

I know folks that eat healthy and have it as well as folks that eat terrible and

have it. It is a huge health issue for those that have it and it is completely

exhausting. There are some lifestyle choices that contribute to fatigue, but

I do believe that there is also a disease out there causing the CFS that

despite, healthy lifestyle food choices and exercise plans, they can't beat it

though it does improve with these choices.

Hopefully your father will improve his food choices and educate himself on what

helps with this. Proof Positive by Dr. Neil Nedley is a wonderful book that

would make a great fathers day present for him. I was just at a conference that

Dr. Neil Nedley did on Mental and Peak physical performance. It was so full of

wonderful information. He also has a great book on " Depression the Way Out " .

http://drnedley.com/pc/BK-PP/BOOKS/Proof+Positive.html His books are worth

every penny. http://drnedley.com/c/BOOKS/Books.html

I hope this is a uniting move for your family.
