Guest guest
I just bring my own grill. I have a portable gas grill that will sit on just about any surface. That way the meat juices (liquefied fats) do not get cooked into my veggie meat. This actually becomes an unexpected convenience for the others as well. This is because since my grill is not being tied up with all of the flesh, I can use it to cook the potatoes, corn, grill some sweet peppers and onions ... while their meat is still cooking. This becomes more time efficient as well as creating more available grilling space.
Guest guest
I had a great time at the BBQ. It was mostly family so some of them are used to me and my 'quirk' about the faux chicken not touching the nasty real chicken. I thought my food looked the best - not all charred and dried out looking. I did get asked why I didn't want my faux chicken on the BBQ and also why I'm a vegetarian. I do not explain fully while people are eating their dinner. I told people that if they wanted to ask at another time away from the dinner table, I would tell them. That's another way to be polite. Nobody asked!! I think they were afraid to hear the truth. ( ) ( __ c\_/ Audrey
Guest guest
What a great idea to bring your own grill. You can get a small one fairly inexpensively I think. , afarnie wrote: > > I just bring my own grill. I > have a portable gas grill that will sit on just about any surface. Guest guest
That is a great idea! Do you have a picture of the portable gas grill you own? Or maybe a link to a site that carries them? ~ PT ~ The wise teacher knows that 55 minutes of work plus 5 minutes laughter are worth twice as much as 60 minutes of unvaried work. ~ Gilbert Highet ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> , afarnie wrote: > > I just bring my own grill. Guest guest
I have the gas one but they also come in charchole. I got mine at k-mart some years ago. Kmart, walmart, home depot all have them. They cost around $20-$30 dollars. Very easy to set up and use. ************** Gas prices getting you down? Search AOL Autos for fuel-efficient used cars.
