Guest guest
Hi. I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Janet. I have been vegetarian for over 5 years, and am excited to be a member of this group. I had to laugh at some of the restaurant experiences as I have had the same problem. I am from an area of Texas that seems to have trouble understanding what vegetarian is. Eating out is very difficult because often I will be told that there is no meat in a vegetable dish, then when it is brought to the table it will have meat. Also, I have found that many people think being a vegetarian means that you don't want large pieces of meat, but small pieces are okay??!! It can be really frustrating at times. I'm glad to have found a group where others are dealing with the same sort of experiences.

Guest guest
Welcome, Janet. I'm brand spanking new as well though I've been a vegetarian for years. A lot of people don't get it, do they? But I wish they did. Bess McBride www.bessmcbride.com www.rvromance.com , Janet Brown <vegjlbrown wrote: > > Hi. I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Janet. Guest guest
Too bad about your Ruby Tuesday/veggie burger experience. I had one for lunch today (my first business lunch since becoming a veggie), and I thought it was great. Has anyone discovered a similar recipe?
