Guest guest
I know for a fact that some people have very low cholesterol and blood pressure and some high and the diet doesn't happen to always affect it one way or the other. My younger nephew has to work very hard to keep his down, he's vegan, and still has to take Niaspan to keep it within normal range, .my blood pressure is extremely low and I dump salt on everything even my fruit, my cholesterol is 130 and I eat butter every single day. My sister is vegan and uses no salt and she has to take blood pressure medicine and her cholestrol is about 210 and she can't get it lower without medicine. Donna. Guest guest
Yes, conventional recommendations are under 200. But, in fact, the biggest study ever performed (and which continues to this day), The Framingham Study, shows that NO SINGLE PERSON who has ever had total cholesterol under 150 has EVER EXPERIENCED A HEART ATTACK. (For more info: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa3987/is_20070409/ai_n19031299/pg_2 ) So, my goal is to get my cholesterol below 150. :-) Sharon rosetalleo wrote: > 280 to 191 is remarkable Sharon! Guest guest
That quote was based on information from the Framingham Heart Study. It is a unique study that is very scientific and very validated. You can check it out. Guest guest
Bloodpressure may be more related to stress or emotions. Usually if You are calm, BP comes down, too. Cheers, Beatriz
