Guest guest
I got this recipe from someone in this group and it is a huge favorite with the entire family. 1 Can of Garbanzo Beans (Chick Peas) - sometimes I cook them fresh 2 tsp spicy brown mustard (Sometimes I use other mustards) 2 Tablespoons Mayo (my SIL is a vegan and is allergic to soy, so I use 1 Tbs Olive Oil and 1 Tbs Tahini) 1Tablespoon Sweet Pickle Relish (I usually double this because we like it with a lot of the pickle taste) 3 Green onions with the tops 1 carrot I put everything through the chopper/grinder thing and mash it all together. It makes a spread that is great for sandwiches or on crackers or with carrot sticks or celery sticks. Raine, my Granddaughter, likes to dip celery in it. It is very delicious. Guest guest
Do you think I could put it in a blender, or would that be too much? I don't have a chopper/grinder. Guest guest
I don't see why it wouldn't work in a blender. I use my chopper thing on both chop and grind to get it to the spread consistency. - Deann Tuesday, July 01, 2008 9:14 AM Re: TOONA Recipe Do you think I could put it in a blender, or would that be too much?
