OT: Looking for - natural Carpenter Ant killer

 

 

HELP!!! I am being invaded!! I have carpenter ants in my bedroom. I need

to find some way to kill them with out killing myself. I am terribly

allergic to most commerical crap, and beside I SLEEP there! I am looking

for herbs, oils non-human and cat posionious ways to rid myself of these

little beasts!!

 

Anyone know of anything??

it's a termite, and you cannot play... youmust get a termite company to get to

the source, kill the queen and the tubes etc.

Hi,

You can use grits or corn meal to kill the ants in areas where you have pets.

Your best bet is to find the entry of the colony and try to elminiate their

entry. You can sprinkle the grits around the entry point. If there are no pets

around that entry point, you can use 20 mule team borax. Borax kills a wide

range of little critters including fleas. Also another way to stop them is to

draw lines with liquid dish soap. They will not cross the soap lines.

Yes, carpenter ants eat and live in wood, so you really do need to

get rid of them, you probably need to call a professional. Good
