When the water returns to the boil, add the spaghetti. Meanwhile, place the butter, garlic, and a few tablespoons of Parmesan in a serving bowl. When the pasta is al dente, drain , leaving a little of the cooking water clinging to the strands. Add to the serving bowl. Toss, adding a little salt to taste.
