Guest guest
I think that it is funny how we can develop tastes for certain things. I am the youngest of 13 kids and by the time the candy was picked over- all I ever had was the black jelly beans and the black licorice whips. I love that flavor, but I think that it is because that was the only flavor I got to try by the time the older kids got through. For the longest time I didn't even realize that there were other colors of jelly beans.
Guest guest
That is so funny. I wasn't allowed to have candy as a child and it has made me a total sugar addict. Please Mom's out there don't completely restrict your kids! I'm living proof. My Mom's idea of candy was a mini box of raisins or a square of dark bitter baking chocolate. And..........I can't tell you how many times I grabbed a piece of red or green candy thinking it would be cherry or lime only to have a rude awakening.............mint or spearmint. Yikes! Donna I've been smiling lately, dreaming about the world as one. And I believe it could be someday, it's going to come.
