Death penalty has not been effective as a crime

deterrent and it costs the taxpayers nearly $1 milliom

before all appeals are exhausted. Why nnt instead

expel the criminal frnm US-create a penal island

colony in the Pacific remember Australia was once a

British penal colony

Yep, and look at the disaster that turned out to be for the original inhabitants of Australia!

It also seems like a good way to palm off the problems created by the societies we live in - so is quite likely to be taken up by our respective governments!!!

that wouldn't help the problem tho...

all yer doing is " out of sight out of mind "

and setting up inmates for horrific abuse...

shouldn't a focus be placed on

a. finding solutions to why this happens in the first place

b. rehabilitation?

Oooooooh - don't like that idea. Why send your problem to some other poor

population - look what happened to the Aborigines and Maoris.
