Guest guest
This will be my last post, because I honestly feel completely unwelcome here and I don't want to intrude any longer. I'd still like to stay, but I won't becuase it's obvious I don't know when I'm causing contention. I did not know about the ideology of the group when I joined. I thought is was a vegan group that just so happened to chat about other things. I did not realize that my question regarding a connection between being vegan and affiliated with the military would create such a heated debate. I honestly just wanted to know. I'm new to veganism and don't understand all the different persectives and reasons for being vegan. I just wanted to be healthy and save some animals in the process. Anger brings out the ugliest side of people and I'm no different. Had I not felt so attacked, I wouldn't have said half of the things I did. But, I make no apologies. I felt it was necessary at the time and although I don't feel that way anymore, I never apologize for the way I feel. Good or bad. I would like to thank earthstrm and debjreed who were very kind and did try to see things from my perspective. I appreciate your compassion. Even though you didn't agree with me, you still did not judge. Thats all I wanted to say. Good bye and peace be with all of you.
