Joy - I just received this message before I read your message.........

Hi,

I have finished my second installment tutorial on how to prepare a

raw thanksgiving dinner.

I search the internet for the simplest raw veg turkey recipe I could

find, and I found what I believe is the simplest in my own copy of

Alissa Cohen's book " Living on Living Food " , and it really tastes

great, I had ten people taste it and they all really liked it. I

hope you will too.

Mock Turkey Loaf from Alissa Cohen's

book " Living on Living Food " .

Good luck - Shari

Stuff without soy!!! I'm allergic to soy, too, and it drives me nuts

to see so many GF recipes that call for soy-this and soy-that. Plenty

of GF folks are soy-intolerant. ;)

Also, for breads, when using kanten flakes to sub for gelatin in

conventional GF bread recipes, what is the ratio? I know the ratio

when *gelling*, but that's a very different use than binding. Is it

1:1 kanten:gelatin or something like 0.25:1, which is more akin to gel

recipes?

As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances,

there's a twilight where everything remains seemingly unchanged, and it is in

such twilight that we must be aware of change in the air, however slight, lest

we become unwitting victims of the darkness.
