ugh....

so..yesterday morning when i woke up,...it was already 53F here in oakland...and

it climbed up to 68F by the afternoon..there were scatterted places across the

bay where it climbed into the 70's

(and heck, in SoCal, there were a ton of temps on the 80's)

today..woke up and it was 44F...and it barely reached 60F.

by thursday.,..be lucky if it reaches 50F..and they are talking rain, with snow

levels dropping down to 1000'

yuck............

What gets us into trouble is not what we don't know, it's what we know for sure

that just ain't so.

We have been having rain galore over the last few weeks and really

strong gusting winds, which is unusual. The temperature is supposed

to reach 11 today, which is unseasonally warm. I would welcome some

bright frosty days :-) Oh to see the sun!

Weather is unseasonably warm here. I was only thinking that last week as I was lying under my car in a t shirt and open shirt, last year at the same time I was freezing my ass off in 4 layers under my car while servicing it! Raining Datsun Cogs here the last few days............ oh, we are coming no matter what...whether we have any $$$ er not

we already got the plane tix

now trying to decide if its worth getting a britrail pass of some sort (so we can ride from london to bath), er just buy one way tix when we get there..

wish brit rail passes worked on the Metro...........

and, need to figure out this "oyster card" thingee i've heard about

i'm saving money from shows i'm working for the trip

sadly, with the closing of the Golden Bull, i lost 75% of my employment in that realm.....

congrats! sounds like fun.

here are some pics of my BA trip in NOvember.

The people that you see there belong to a vegan chat group

baised in Buenos Aires.

the cats well, just that there are a lot of abandoned

animals in BA, and people drop of their unwanted cats

at the Buenos Aires Botanical Gardens, there, the cats have formed

a colony.

Somebody's going to be worn out when they get home!!!

Will you be sight-seeing in London? It's a bit expensive, but a ride on the

London Eye is good.

Hi Fraggle

I'd recommend The Hobgoblin in Bath - it's a nice friendly place, and if you

happen to be in there on the third Wednesday of the month you can visit the

Goth Moot, which I sometimes pop along to!

Alternatively, if you feel like a pub on the 3rd Monday of the month, The

Raven in Bath has a storytelling circle, which is always good fun.... and

knowing your internet storytelling skills, I'm sure you could contribute

something :-)
