I would appreciate some civility please and don't appreciate being

told where to go and live.

Maybe you do, as long as you are not aiming that at anyone on here? I still maintain that it is not always necessary to wash anything grown above ground, unless they have visible contamination if you have grown it yourself. Angel, I hope that "go live in a plastic bubble" comment was a general comment , and not aimed as an insult to anyone on here? We are all entitled to an opinion, and have different views on such things? At 5 years old, it would be hard to analyse any urge, I certainly wouldnt make a statement that it MUST have been a deficiency of anything? I dont think that there is a great enough risk or chance of shortening it as you say, or else I would be worried about it to the extent that I would wash everything.
