Guest guest
Has anyone seen baby birds yet? Last year we had loads, but I think it was probably a few weeks later in the year. We spent ages trying to get good photos of them. We managed to get some reasonable ones, but no brilliant photos. The birds were very sweet, mainly bluetits, chaffinches and dunnocks. Guest guest
We are having a warm spring so I am seeing more birds making nests than I can recall. And the ducks in the stream behind my cottage will be hatching babies soon as well. Now as long as we don't have a quick snow melt upcountry here in the Sierras we should have more baby ducks, unlike last year when the stream became a raging river and most babies were lost. ~BethSee what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
hi jo, we have birds all year round here in florida, but I have not seen any baby birds, just adult ones. I love it when they are trying to learn how to fly, they are so cute. I always find it touching how wonderful parents some birds are. -anouk , " heartwerk " <jo.heartwork wrote: > > Has anyone seen baby birds yet? Guest guest
It is sad about he fate of the ducks last year. I hope they are okay this year. They are so sweet. Our local town traffic came to a standstill this morning while two ducks waddled slowly across the road to a place where I know they nest :-) Jo , MotherLodeBeth wrote: > > We are having a warm spring so I am seeing more birds making nests than I > can recall.
