I wonder if this Saturday's Doctor Who will be a better episode than

last week. I didn't like the comedy act of the radiation going into

the left shoe!

I enjoyed it, and like the new "assistant". I like to see humour in programmes like that. It is after all light entertainment, and I think a lot of sci fi enthusiasts take these programmes way too seriously, and in some aspects miss that point. I don't mind some humour - but not clowning.

Hi Peter

 

For me, I like to see humour, but if I want slapstick I'll watch a keystone cops movie. I don't think slapstick works well in sci fi personally.

horses for courses. keystone cops?, you will be quoting buster keaton next........... I like humour in sci fi, one of my fave films is Dark Star.
