We all lead busy lives but please remember that on Monday, 23 April and for a few days after, many calves and bulls will be deliberately and sadistically murdered in a despicable and terribly cruel orgy of violence. These innocent creatures will be sacrificed in Beas de Segura.and Arroyo del Ojanco to celebrate the "religious" festival of St. Mark. We cannot begin to imagine the suffering they will endure. Let us collectively send out our loving thoughts to those poor animals and tell the world that this abomination against sentient creatures must stop. The Roman Catholic church in Spain is morally and spiritually bankrupt for allowing this to take place.http://www.asanda. org/index. php?module= CONTENT_EXPRESS & func=display & ceid=112Peter H

Thank you for calling our attention to this. But...doesn't this happen EVERY DAY in our own nation's slaughterhouses?

Maybe I'm dense...but what difference does it make WHY people do something if it causes suffering? Does cruelty for the sake of profit hurt less than cruelty for the sake of your god?

You are right , animal cruelty is animal cruelty full stop. However, to use religion as an excuse to me doesnt put your diety in a very good light?
