Guest guest
A few days into being a vegan I bought some flax seed oil caplets for the Omega fatty acids, since I haven't been able to find flax seed oil itself yet in my area. I just realized that the capsules are gelatin! I hadn't even thought about this. It seems stupid that Sundown does this. I wouldn't have thought that carnivores would be interested in flax seed; usually, it seems, they go right to fish oil. They advertise their product as organic. Hence it would seem that their market would be to vegetarians and vegans. Well, no more Sundown. Does anybody know another good source for Omega's 3 and 6 besides flax seeds? Guest guest
Hi Corry Depends where you live. I'm in the UK and get stuff called LinuSprout, which is made from flax seed. I like it in porridge and muesli! I believe walnuts also contain a fair amount of the omegas!
