Don't try to tell me what to think or say, let people defend

theirself, who are you a vegan stormtrooper? I am in no box, just

because you can't debate doesn't mean debate should be outlawed..

unless this is your group and you plan on excommunicating me mind your

own business, and if it is your group, throw me out, I'm not going to

learn anymore here anyway. As I said, NO TYPE O long term vegans have

come forth so I still lean towards a blood type theory explaining that

than any demagoguery which is all you seem capable of! and I have

entertained other thoughts here than discussion of blood type and

possible dietic connections but you have tunnel vision and are zeroing

in on me for what seems like personal dislike, very primitive behaviour.

I never thought about the universe, it made me feel small

Never thought about the problems of this planet at all

Global warming, radio-active sites

Imperialistic wrongs and animal rights! No!

Why think of all the bad things when life is so good?

Why help with an 'am' when there's always a 'could'?

Let the whales worry about the poisons in the sea

Outside of California, it's foreign policy

I don't want changes, I have no reactions

Your dilemmas are my distractions

I never looked around, never second-guessed

Then I read some Howard Zinn now I'm always depressed

And now I can't sleep from years of apathy

All because I read a little Noam Chomsky

I'm eating vegetation, 'cause of Fast Food Nation

I'm wearing uncomfortable shoes 'cause of globalization

I'm watching Michael Moore expose the awful truth

I'm listening to Public Enemy and Reagan Youth

I see no world peace 'cause of zealous armed forces

I eat no breath-mints 'cause they're from de-hoofed horses

Ron, I have said it before, there is one book ( if you are genuinely interested in a vegan diet ) by Stephen Walsh - Plant based nutrition and health- that you should read. It is a bit dry as it contains a lot of scientific facts, but it might answer some of your questions.

I would like to point out that this is a vegan site, and all conversation should not be offensive to vegans.

To Ron, I agree with Jo who said it is time to MOVE ON from your "blood" type theories. No one cares

anymore and it is annoying. As for your insinuating that I sound "wealthy", well, my friend, just the opposite. I don't work because of health issues that occurred about 10 years ago.. Since I gave up meat and turned vegan one year ago, my health has improved and my blood reports are "perfect" despite what I have going on. It is very easy to eat an INexpensive Vegan diet. NEXT TOPIC. If you have to justify your meat eating ways, then you're going to do whatever you want anyway. Who cares. I don't. Good luck to you regardless of you having to justify eating meat. For the love of humanity we all may have to think outside of our boxes one day. Your reply reminds me of some wealthy person who has no sympathy for those less fortunate. This issue may be to the benefit of veganism. , veganfitness wrote:>> > Hi Ryan, I am not sure what my blood type and honestly don't give it much thought. You are being rude again. I am a moderator on this group. I have asked you

to be polite and sensitive to the vegan ethic. Please do so.

As you have already been put on moderation I will not answer in full. I do

find it offensive (which you may interpret as dislike) that you join a vegan

group and talk so much about meat, admit that you are not really interested

in animal welfare etc. Some sensitivity and empathy would be good traits

for you to cultivate.

I agree Peter. It is a very good book (it is on my desk by the keyboard). The other books I like are written by Patrick Holford, who although not vegan is very knowledgeable about nutrition. Between the two there is an absolute wealth of knowledge.

I agree with Jo. To Ron, listening to your comments re: meat and blood types to me is like a person visiting a concentration camp and then denying the holocaust ever existed. If you cannot blend in peacefully and discuss the positives of living as a Vegan and doing not only for health reasons but also for compassion for living beings, the animals, then you should join a different carnivorous eating group.
