My Obligatory Homepage http://home.att.net/~bonnithoza * Exported from MasterCook * Mapled Sweet Potatoes Recipe By : Leon's On The West Side Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Side Dishes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 5 lbs. Peeled sweet potatoes or yams 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 c. Vermont Maple syrup 1 tsp. Amaretto 1/2 c. heavy cream 4 oz. butter 5 whole basil leaves Salt & pepper In a sauce pan add potatoes and cover with water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 25 minutes or until done.
