I thought it was something I'd remember, but. . . >.well, let's not get into the age thing. :-) Hi, my name is Bobbi and I d to this list a couple of nights ago and LOVE the recipes I've gotten so far :-) I'm on digest mode so I can't tell if anyone has replied to this, but better twice than not at all :-) The bulk food book I got from Whole Foods doesn't have refried beans, but it has instant black beans and if I recall correctly you prepare them the same way. It says: Place 1 1/2 cups instant black beans in bowl. Add 2 cups boiling water. Stir well. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
